Once collagen production increases, subsequent treatments accelerate the healing process further. It takes months after completion of the final treatment for the acne scars to all but disappear. Microneedling is, therefore, not a quick fix, but once the positive results are realized, the skin will be much more even in tone, and the scarring may never again become visible.
